Global Human Rights at Risk. Challenges, Prospects, and Reforms Conference, Leiden University

Director CHRJ, Ms. Amna Rashid presented her paper titled “International Human Rights Commitments and Human Rights Discourse in Pakistan” at the ‘Global Human Rights at Risk? Challenges, Prospects, and Reforms’ organized by the Leiden University, The Hague Campus. 

The multidisciplinary conference examined key debates and perspectives arising from various contemporary challenges to international human rights and emancipatory politics. Ms. Amna’s paper was in response to the #KnowYourRights Campaign launched by CHRJ and the research conducted by CHRJ on internalization of human debates by the citizens of Pakistan. Out of hundreds of submission only a few papers were selected for inclusion, Ms. Amna’s paper was one of them.
