On Thursday, 22nd November 2018 CHRJ organized a workshop as part of its Know Your Rights Campaign, “Right to Life & Dignity”.
Mr. Sakheer Iqbal Awan Advocate, who is a part of CHRJ and Managing Partner of Awan Law Associates conducted the workshop. The workshop was designed to create awareness about the Right to Life and Right to Dignity guaranteed by the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The workshop covered the following areas:
- Right to Life - its importance and evolution
- Right to Dignity - its implications and the approach of courts
- Who can enforce these rights
- How to enforce these rights
The workshop was a great success and CHRJ received tremendous response from the participants of the workshop. Team CHRJ looks forward to organizing its next workshop soon.
