International Human Rights Day is celebrated globally every year on the 10th of December. This day commemorates the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948 by the UN General Assembly.
As part of its #KnowYourRights Campaign, Center for Human Rights and Justice (CHRJ) is calling poster submissions designed to answer one question: What are human rights?
Students are encouraged to design posters, creatively using any or some or all of the following modes:
- Photographs
- Collages
- Graphic Design
- Poems
- Short essays/stories/personal anecdotes
- Paintings/Drawings
Group submissions, in contrast to individual submissions are encouraged. Submissions must be made in hard form. Soft digital copies will not be accepted. Poster dimensions must be the dimensions for a standard sized chart paper.
Submission deadline: Monday, 9th December 2019, 2:00 pm sharp.
